Privacy policy
Last updated 15 août 2026
This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage and runs no analytics. That is why there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. The only personal data you give us is the email address you type in, if you type one in.
PARTIR. is based in France. Whatever your country, this site applies the European GDPR to everyone.
1. Who processes your data
Data controller: [[À RENSEIGNER : prénom et nom, ou dénomination sociale]], [[À RENSEIGNER : entrepreneur individuel / micro-entreprise / SASU…]], [[À RENSEIGNER : adresse du siège ou de domiciliation]].
For any question or request about your data: partirguides@gmail.com.
2. What is collected, and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address | Sending you the 12-page extract | Your consent | 3 years without interaction |
| Consent to the email series | Knowing whether you asked for the three messages | Your consent | 3 years without interaction |
| Chosen language | Writing to you in the language of the page you signed up on | Your consent | 3 years without interaction |
| Send timestamps | Never sending you the same message twice | Your consent | 3 years without interaction |
| Server logs (IP address, requested page) | Security and fault diagnosis | Legitimate interest | Per the host's retention |
The two consents are separate. Ticking the first box sends you the extract and nothing else. The second box, which is optional, triggers the three planning emails. You can have the extract without ever receiving a message.
No box is pre-ticked. No special-category data under Article 9 GDPR is collected. No profiling, no automated decision-making.
3. Cookies and trackers
None. No cookie, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no pixel, no analytics. The map, the filters and the form all work without writing anything to your device.
4. Third-party servers the page contacts
Displaying a page means downloading its resources. Here is every one that does not come from this site.
| Resource | Origin | What is sent | Safeguards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Map tiles | OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom | Your IP address, at the moment the map draws | UK adequacy decision. A non-profit, no advertising, no profiling. The tiles are the point of the page. |
| Fonts and map library | This site | Nothing to any third party | Self-hosted since 15 August 2026 — previously loaded from Google and unpkg, which sent your IP address to the United States |
Links to Google Maps, to venue websites or to Etsy are only followed if you click them. Until you click, nothing is sent to them.
5. Recipients
| Processor | Role | Location | Transfer safeguards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Subscriber database | Union européenne | Data kept in the European Union |
| Resend | Email delivery | United States | Standard Contractual Clauses and a data processing agreement |
| Vercel Inc. | Site hosting and server function execution | United States, processing configured in a European region | Standard Contractual Clauses and a data processing agreement |
Your data is never sold, rented or shared for advertising or commercial purposes, to anyone, under any circumstances.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
The easy way
Every message carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click, with no justification and no form. On unsubscribe, your address is erased. Only an irreversible cryptographic fingerprint is kept, for the sole purpose of never writing to you again if the address were re-submitted. That fingerprint cannot be turned back into your address.
For everything else
Write to partirguides@gmail.com. Answered within one month.
If you disagree with how a request is handled, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority — CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr — or with the supervisory authority of your own country of residence.
7. Retention
Subscriber addresses are kept for three years from the last interaction, following the CNIL's recommendation for marketing lists. After that they are erased automatically.
8. Security
The database is never read from your browser: only a server function writes to it. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Unsubscribe links are cryptographically signed, which prevents anyone from unsubscribing you — or anyone else — by guessing an address.
9. Changes
This policy may change. The version that applies is the one published on the date you signed up. Any substantial change is notified to subscribers.
